How did I get through my English Honours: Creative Writing degree?
By listening to AC/DC, of course.
When people meet me, they assume I must be fully aquainted with my feminine side. I understand that I give that energy off right away, and honestly, I wish I didn’t feel like I needed to develop such a masculine shield to get by. But because I didn’t particularly enjoy EVERY element of what I had to learn in university, I infused what I strongly disliked with something I loved every day.
My top artist on Apple Music in 2023 was AC/DC. I’d enjoy listening to AC/DC while writing essays for this purely Shakespearean class and any other class that I didn’t like, in which I knew I wouldn’t need to retain any information for long-term. I knew I would never want to be a high school teacher one day, so did I really have to retain any information in this class?
